Fall-Winter Group Semester Tuition

Our goal at Piano Play is to make the process easy for our parents. Online registration is available for group students. Private students, please email us directly at info@pianoplaymusiclessons.com to schedule your lesson today!
Group Tuition Fees (20 Weeks)

  • Toddler Classes (Ages 19 months – 5 yrs.)
    $582 fall-winter tuition (if paid in full)
    $160 (four monthly installments)
  • Pre-Kindergarten – 2nd Grade (Ages 5 – 7 yrs.)
    $660 fall-winter tuition (if paid in full)
    $180 (four monthly installments)
  • Advance Group Classes (Prerequisite Music Tales Book 3)
    $750 fall-winter tuition (if paid in full)
    $202.50 (four monthly installments)
  • Adult Group Classes
    $500 fall-winter tuition (if paid in full) or $140 (four monthly installments)

Group classes if paid in full are discounted. Siblings receive a 10% discount. Please call us at (818) 789-6110 or email us at info@pianoplaymusic.com if you have questions or concerns.

Private Monthly Tuition (4 Weeks) A 10% discount is given to first siblings for tuition paid in full at the beginning of the semester.

  • $220 for four 30-minute lessons.
  • $288 for four 45-minute lessons.
  • $338 for five 60-minute lessons.
  • Call us if interested in per lesson pricing and longer lesson times.

Privates registration fee: $60 (Includes theory book and a weekly 15-minute theory class.)

Siblings receive a 10% discount on tuition.

  • Semester discounts only apply to the first child, not siblings.
  • Siblings receive a 10% discount on private lessons.

Semester Fees:

  • $60 Yearly Registration fee per private student is only required if the student registers in the fall and spring semesters.

Piano Lessons Year-Round

Piano Play offers yearly two semesters and one summer session for group and private piano classes.

  • Fall Semester (20 Weeks)
    August 11, 2024-January 18, 2025
  • Spring Semester (20 Weeks)
    January 20, 2025-June 14, 2025
  • Summer Semester (5 Weeks)
    June 16, 2025-August 2, 2025

School Policies and Procedures:

Tuition Fees:

Your tuition guarantees you a spot for the entire semester. Group enrollment never exceeds eight (8) students in class.

If you are on a monthly payment plan, your credit card will be auto-debited before the 7th of every month. Tuition is prorated based on the semester enrollment date.

Late Payment or Returned Check / NSF For Credit Cards:
All tuition payments must be received NO LATER than the 7th of each month. Any late payments or returned checks will result in a $45 NSF/ late fee being added to and charged to your account if your credit card is declined.

It’s important to note that tuition cannot be credited for missed classes. Students in group classes will receive a Zoom recording of their missed class. If you have private classes, please provide a 24-hour advance notice if you need to arrange a makeup or reschedule class. Please be aware that makeup or rescheduled classes are NOT guaranteed.

Withdrawals Mid-Semester: Tuition is NOT refundable.
If you are on a monthly payment plan, we ask that parents honor the semester tuition rate to keep costs down for all students.

If you pull your child out mid-semester, we will continue to auto-debit the credit card for the remainder of the semester. Please notify our offices if a health issue or death occurs in the family.

Absences: a 24-hour notice is required for students needing a rescheduled lesson. Group students will receive a zoom link of the missed class. Private students have only ONE rescheduled (makeup) per semester. Missed classes are NOT refundable.

A 24-hour absence notice must be given BEFORE the lesson as a courtesy and respect to your teacher. To keep a germ-free environment, we ask that you keep your child at home when they are sick and possibly contagious. Online lessons are an option if this is more convenient.

In cases of a sudden illness on the part of the student, it is your responsibility to notify the office of your child’s absence; this, however, does not exempt the student from payment as contracted. Please notify our office by email or phone to arrange for a make-up class. A student will have no make-up lessons if the parent /student fails to give a 24-hour notice of absences.

There will be NO second make-up opportunity if the student misses a make-up lesson.

Piano Play will notify the parents before the scheduled lesson if a teacher is absent due to illness or an emergency. A make-up lesson will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time for both student and teacher.

Photo / Video Policy:
Piano Play Music Systems will request in writing from you the right to take photos for social media, marketing materials, etc. Please be aware that we use those photos for promotional materials. We will never use your child’s first or last name in conjunction with the photo/video taken.
Outside Food and Drinks:

To keep our Piano center clean, we ask that you refrain from bringing in outside food and beverages. Water bottles are permissible.
