Tuition & Material Fees

Our goal at Piano Play is to make the process easy for our parents.
We DO NOT charge our clients a registration fee. Tuition is prorated based on semester enrollment date.

Group Tuition Fees Per Semester (20 Weeks):

  • $550 per semester (if paid in full)
  • $115 per month (5-month payment plan)

Private Tuition Fees Per Semester (20 Weeks or 20 Lessons):

  • $292 monthly for 60 minutes per week; $1,300 if paid in full
  • $246 monthly for 45 minutes per week; $1,100 if paid in full
  • $180 monthly for 30 minutes per week; $800 if paid in full

Sibling Discount:

  • Siblings get a discount of 10% for the second and third sibling

Material Fee – Semester Fee:

  • $40 per group student
  • $25 private student

Piano Play offers 4 semesters and one summer session per year for your child to learn to play the piano.

  • Fall Semester I (20 weeks)
    August 12th-January 18th, 2020
  • Fall Semester II (20 weeks)
    September 16th-February 22nd, 2020
  • Group Recital for Fall Semesters I & II
    January 19th, 2020
  • Winter Semester I (20 weeks)
    January 20th-June 13th, 2020
  • Spring Semester (15 weeks)
    (Classes will be prorated for a 15-week semester)
    February 24th, 2020-June 20th, 2020
  • Group Recital for Winter Semesters I & II
    June 7th, 2020
  • Summer (5 weeks)
    July 6th-August 1st, 2020

Private Semesters

Piano Play offers 2 semesters and one summer session per year for students in private lessons.

  • Fall Semester (20 weeks)
    August 12th-January 18th, 2020
  • Semester I Privates Recital
    January 12th, 2020
  • Winter Semester (20 weeks)
    January 20th-June 13th, 2020
  • Semester II Privates Recital
    June 14th, 2020

School Policies and Procedures:

Tuition Fees:

Your tuition guarantees you a spot for the entire semester.
Enrollment in each class never exceeds eight (8) students to ensure that your child’s music education is maximized. If you are on a monthly payment plan, your credit card will be auto debited before the 7th of every month.
Tuition cannot be credited for missed classes. During a 20-week semester, your child can make up to two (2) lessons within the same semester with a 24-hour advance notice.

Withdrawals Mid-Semester:

If you are on a monthly payment plan, we ask that parents honor the 20-week semester tuition rate in order to keep costs down for all students.
If you pull your child out mid- semester, we will continue to auto-debit the credit card for the remainder of the semester (contract).
Please notify our offices if there is a health issue or death that occurs in the family.


As a courtesy and respect to your teacher, a 24-hour absence notice must be done BEFORE the lesson.
In order to keep a germ-free environment, we ask that you keep your child at home when they are sick and possibly contagious.
In cases of a sudden illness on the part of the student, it is your responsibility to notify the office of your child absence, this however does not exempt the student from payment as contracted. Please notify our office by email or phone to arrange for a make-up class.
There will be no make-up lessons for a student if the parent /student fails to give a 24-hour notice of absences.
There will be NO second make-up opportunity, if the student misses a make-up lesson.
Piano Play will make every effort to notify the parent before the scheduled lesson if a teacher will be absent due to illness or an emergency. A make-up lesson will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time for both student and teacher.

Late Payment or Returned Check / NSF For Credit Cards:

All tuition payment must be received NO LATER than the 7th of each month. Late payments, returned checks, or if your credit card is declined a $30 NSF/ late fee will be added and charged to your account.

Photo / Video Policy:

Piano Play Music Systems reserves the right to take photos for social media, marketing materials, etc. Please be aware that we use those photos for promotional materials. We will never use your child’s first or last name in conjunction with the photo/video be taken. If you are uncomfortable with this policy, please notify us in writing so we may respect your privacy.

Outside Food and Drinks:

In order to keep our Piano center clean, we ask that you refrain from bringing in outside food and beverages. Water bottles are permissible.
